The Venue: hmv Empire
hmv Empire is a landmark Coventry venue on Hertford Street, right in the city centre. With a capacity of 800, it's a serious room with a serious sound system. The venue has hosted some of the biggest names in live music, and on a 2PM CLUB afternoon, all of that production quality is pointed squarely at giving you the best four hours of your week. The main floor is spacious enough for a proper crowd while still feeling connected, and the bar is well-stocked and accessible throughout. Getting there couldn't be easier, with Coventry train station a ten-minute walk away and plenty of city centre parking nearby.
