Who we are

THE 2PM CLUB is run by Boombastic Events Ltd. We are the data controller for the personal information collected through this website. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, email us at hello@boomevents.co.uk.

What we collect and why

Analytics and advertising data. With your consent, we use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) and the Meta Pixel to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising. These tools only run after you accept cookies in our banner. If you reject, they stay off.

Email address. If you join a waiting list or sign up for event news, we store your email address with our email provider, Mailjet, and use it to tell you about upcoming events in your area. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.

Ticket purchases. Tickets are sold through Eventbrite. When you buy a ticket, your payment and order details are handled by Eventbrite under their own privacy policy. We receive order information (name, email, ticket type) so we can run the event.

Cookies

Essential cookies are always on: they make the site work. Analytics and marketing cookies are only set after you choose Accept in the cookie banner. You can reject them with one tap and the site works exactly the same. To change your choice later, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will ask again.

Legal basis and retention

We rely on your consent for analytics and marketing cookies and for marketing emails, and on legitimate interests for running events you have booked. We keep personal data only as long as we need it for these purposes. Unsubscribed email addresses are suppressed, not reused.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@boomevents.co.uk and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
